Cpu fan works in new rig, but not old rig?

Hello,

I have a some-year old case fan that I managed to turn into a cpu fan in my new rig. It was working, but then I moved it to the old rig because ever since I got another hyper 212 evo I put the 2 fans that came with the hyper 212 evo's in the new rig, and the old fan into my old rig. I booted up my old rig a few mins ago to set up a server, then I went to get some food. I come back 1 hour later to team viewer into the old computer (it was still on) and it wasn't working, so I went to the old computer to turn it off when I noticed the fan was not spinning. I touched the cooler and it was hot-shower hot (if that makes sense) I didn't smell any smoke so I don't think it burnt out, but should I wait a few hours until turning it back on or replace the fan with one of the hyper 212 evo's fans?

Dos the fan still work? Try it in the new rig. If not, then replace it.

Just tried it in my new rig, doesn't work. I guess it just doesn't work anymore. Thanks.
