CPU Fan

Hello, I currently just built my first build, and I seem to have ran into a little major problem. My cpu fan doesn't seem to be working.

My specs are: 120GB OCZ solid state, 3TB Seagate Baracuda, Asus P8z77-v LX motherboard, MSI R7770 Video Card, and 32GB of ram,and i5 3770K processor.

I connected everything fine. The cpu fan has a port that says "cpu fan." When I boot it up, the fan makes an attempt to spin but doesn't. This is the 2nd processor I get, because I exchanged it thinking that there was something wrong with the 1st one. Please help, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

What's your power supply???Try changing your fan speed from BIOS

What motherboard? Have you connected the 4 or 8-pin ATX power cable?

@canwodya I have a 750W Power Supply from Ultra. I don't think it shows up in Bios, but I'll take a look at it.

@alexoiu I have an Asus P8z77-V LX. It is connected with an 8-pin.

Try speedfan software.You can download it here https://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php.Then try to increase your fan speed using it.Set all fan speeds to 100%
