Cpu for livestreaming/recording and editing?

Yesterday, I posted about, if my PSU could run my system (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2385035/corsair-hx750i-power-system.html) and now, I remembered that I don't only want to game (which the i5 4690k is perfect for) but i also want to livestream and record my footage and edit it. I've seen many of my favorite twitch streamers, use a i7 3770k. Is that CPU good for livestreaming? should i get that CPU or should i get a i7 4790k? Or should i perhaps stick with i5 4690k because there is something about streaming I don't know?

Ya know I see a lot of people say that you need a i7 but I really don't see why a i5 won't handle it especially with a k.
