CPU For Medium, to heavy editing, and Heavy gaming.

Hey guys,

With black Friday just around the corner i'm interested in a new processor, and i'm conflicted on which one will be the best for me. I'm currently looking at either the R1700x/R1600x, or the i7 7700k/i7 7800x. I play a lot of video games, and i edit videos fairly heavy as well. Most reviews i see are mainly for strict "Gaming", or strict "Rendering", if you could please help me out it'd be much appreciated.

If you were going to choose between either the 7700k, or the 1700x which would you choose?

I would suggest you i7 7700k as i'm not a amd user but still if u like u can go with amd and as it is cheaper and there performance is also quit similar

That's what i was thinking might be the best, would it be worth it to look at coffee lake 6-core processors?

No It is worth to look at coffee lake cpu. you have to change your motherboard to run it like you have to buy z370 motherboard so buy i7 7700k
