I recently got a gtx 1060 but I feel like it is getting held back by my CPU. The CPU I believe is a fx-6300. I don’t really want to get a new motherboard but I will if the best processor I can get for this motherboard isn’t too good. If you have any recommendations for a cpu that would be great.
Thanks in advance.

For gaming I assume? The difference between the 6300 and 8320/8350 is basically zero. The 83xx will be faster at video editing and other CPU tasks, but gaming is basically the same. Here is our sister sites review of the 6300/8350.

Notice that basically you get the same performance in all the games. In none of the games does the 8350 really "beat" the 6300, and in some of them the 6300 is even able to slightly pass the 8320. For gaming you basically have the best CPU your board supports. If you want a better CPU you need to upgrade everything.
