Hi i'm building a completely new PC as my older one is broken.
I'm currently thinking of buying a PC with the following specs

CPU - i5 3570k or i7 3770k
Ram - 8gb corsair vengeance
GPU - 650 ti or 660 ti
mobo - not decided yet

I use my destop mostly for gaming.
I'm stuck whether to choose 3570k or 3770k. I know that the haswell processors are coming out but i cant wait till june as i need a new desktop now.

my question is which of the two processors are better keeping the future in mind and is the haswell processor going to be that much better than the current generation as people say it is?
Also can people recommend some mobo for the processors

Thanks

Haswell is going to give a 10% performance increase of Ivy Bridge. Not really a revolution in simple words.
If you're open to AMD options, an AMD FX 8350 build with a GTX 660 TI would be killer & more future proof.
If strictly Intel, then i5 3570k (If you're ONLY gonna game on it, no rendering & stuff).
But personally i'd recommend an AMD FX 8350 based build.
