hi guys i want to buy a new cpu for my socket lga2011v3, but i don't understand the difference between these 2 cpu: Xeon E5-2699 V3 - Xeon E5-2696 V3. Apparently from the technical sheet they are identical .. but the price changes, do you know why?

I was also undecided by these two cpu: E5-2687 V3 - E5-2697 V3
suggestions?

Thanks

You can just google the differences.

I think the biggest difference is the 2696 was not intended to be sold to the public. It does not show up in the Intel ARK. It was sold directly to OEMs. BIOS support for it may be poor since Intel didn't provide it to general sale. It is probably cheaper because of that.
