[SOLVED] CPU goes 99°C

After applying new thermal paste to my CPU. My CPU temperature goes up. My CPU fan is properly installed.

What cpu and cpu cooler?

CPU: Intel i3 4150
CPU Cooler: Deepcool CK-11509

Reset the bios for good measure, none the less, if it goes straight to 99c, then theres no contact with the cooler, something is wrong with the mount, because even if the fan is not spinning, the heat sink would provide some cooling for a while, shooting 99C right off the bad is what would happen if theres no cooler at all.
