Question CPU heat sink fan not spinning as fast as it should on full load after overclocking with PBO in BIOS.

So, since I overclocked my r5 5500 to 4.45Ghz using PBO in Bios, my heatsink fan is not spinning according to CPU temps under full load. Before overclocking it would go faster according to increasing temps, now it just sits on minimal default speed. How do I fix it without resetting my PBO settings which really don't have anything to do with fan speed controls.

If you don't mind having another app to control fan speed, I'd say get https://getfancontrol.com/. The catch is you do have to keep it running for it to do its magic, but having fan control while in the OS is always nice.

Did you adjust fan's speed curve in BIOS ?

I don't know much about that part, and I didn't do anything with it since the overclocking tutorial didn't mention anything about it

That is not part of OC or PBO, that's why. Check MB manual.

Check MB manual where fan controls are,there should be settings for Quiet, Normal, Fast or manual.
