CPU Heat Sink

I Was looking to buy a cpu heat sink and I was thinking of getting this one http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-CL-P0466-Copper-Heatpipe-Univrsal/dp/B001KARQXI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1450486886&sr=8-1&keywords=Thermaltake+CL-P0466+SpinQ+Quiet+Copper+Heatpipe+Univrsal+CPU+Cooler+with+Blue+LED+for+Intel+LGA+775+and+AMD+AM2 . It says that is compatible with amd 2 motherboards. I have an amd 3+ motherboard will that still work? Also, what is your opinion on that heat sink. It looks very cool and it fits my color scheme. I also think it will function very well.

I highly suggest against using "cool looking" heat sinks, especially ones that have highly unbalanced designs. Kind of expensive for the quality too! Just get something like the Hyper 212+/evo and swap the fan with a 4 pin fan that has leds that fit your design.
