[SOLVED] CPU heats up after installing a new SSD, and I get low FPS in any game ?

So with my old 128GB SSD I had no issues running any games, but when i installed my new 500GB SSD it just heats up in seconds, and when running a game it has really low FPS ?

What cooler do you have on the CPU? If its a large air cooler, you might have bumped it braking the thermal past bond, remove clean and reapply thermal paste. If its a AIO cooler check to see if the pump is still running.

im sorry but I don't think I have either on my laptop

i just dont understand why my laptop decides to heat up when i run a game on the 500gb SSD with fps problems and when i run the game with the 128gb SSD its fine
