CPU heatsink doesn't cover all of the CPU. Is this a problem?

I'm still semi new to building computers so I'm not entirely sure if I'm putting the heatsink on wrong or if the heatsink doesn't necessarily need to cover all of the CPU? here's a picture

The CPU is in the center and it is a lot smaller than the CPU heat spreader (lid).
CPU heat spreader is covering the CPU.
So it is ok if the CPU lid is not covered entirely.
If you are doubtful, just enter the BIOS and monitor your temps.

As long as most of the center is covered you should be okay.
