So I recent bought a PC and the air cooler wasn't places sideways like most people do therefore the cable for the fan had to be routed above the heatsink to the port on the motherboard. Could this cause any problems? I imagine the cooler wouldn't get hot enough to harm the cable but is there anything else I should be worried about? View: https://imgur.com/a/xtFruQF

I think that wire will be fine. The insulation generally has to get very hot to melt.....and if it gets that hot....you have bigger problems.
