CPU Help (Graphics Card And RAM)

Hello guys,
Im trying to find a new graphics card because im tired of my intergrated chipset
being unable to play good games (Fear 2, Fallout3, stuff like that) and I
wanted to start looking for a good graphics card to run good games on decent
settings. so can you guys please help me out because i dont know wat kind
of graphics card to look for...

well, i cant help you without a bit more info. what slots does your motherboard have, like pci, pci e, pci 2.0, and how big is your psu? o, and what are the specs of your memory.

Being a slimline case with a small PSU (I think 250watt) http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/dell-inspiron-530s-desktop/1707-3118_7-32486101.html you will need a low profile card. HD5570 low profile would be your card it would run on your PSU.

but that would be a waste considering it still wont be able to play those game well at all. unfortunately, you may need a new computer to have any added performance

ehh, mediocre, but i wouldnt call 30-45 average on low settings that good.

Not every one has the money for a new system and a HD5570 will give that Dell a new lease on life.

i realize that, thats why the op has to decide, however, if he gets a new monitor, it wont be able to handle it, and it will barely be able to handle most games at decent settings now. its up to him.

i would like to add i have 2 PCI slots that are open...wud that add to the integrated chipset? or would that just get rid of the integrated graphics and replace it? and also am i able to increase my CPU Speed aswell (this is wat i have for most games) (You Have: 2.19 GHz Performance Rated at: 3.8325 GHz))
