[SOLVED] CPU help please

I am in between the 3600 and the 3600x. Im pairing this with a rtx msi gaming 2060 and 16 GB of trident g skill 3200 ram cl16. On a 144 hrz Asus 1080 monitor. I don't think il be streaming or making vids but maybe. But for sure gaming in 1080p and 1440. Which is the better or more suitable option for me. The price difference i think is about 30 buck on amazon. When on new egg 3600 is 190 and the x is 205. But on amazon 3600 is 172 and the x is 200. Please advise

This article shows them pretty close around 5% faster for the 3600x at stock. So it depends if that extra performance is worth the price? You do get a better cooler with the 3600x

Either way both are solid cpus if that extra $$ that the 3600 x would cost could improve another component you could buy, I'd say go for the 3600.
