Cpu high temps new build

Hey,

Just installed a Seidon 120v Plus CPU cooler in my system and according to HW Monitor I've idling on 50c.
I've got the fans in a push pull set up. Or I think so, one is blowing out the back, radiator, and then a fan sucking air in.

Any ideas?

Notcsutecwhat you mean on fan configuration ??

You mean 2 fans fitted to the rad ??

If so both those fans need to be pushingvair out through the back of the case

The way you describe above they're cancelling each other out completely!!

Sorry if there's a misunderstanding, both fans are pushing backwards out of the case.
CPU: Amd X4760K
Mobo: Msi A78m-e35

Check your thermal margin in Overdrive. Hardware monitor often reports incorrect temps on AMD systems. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-2122665/understanding-temperature-amd-cpus-apus.html

^ what he said - hwmonitor is totally unreliable for fm2 chipsets.

You'll likely have a thermal margin of 45c or so at idle in overdrive & 25-30c under load.

They're the kind of temps I'd be expecting with a seidon installed.
