i have got a MSI GE62VR 7RF APACHE PRO gaming laptop. Some months ago it used to hit 95 degrees Celsius while gaming. So i changed the thermal paste last month it worked fine but it has yet again started to hit 85 degrees celsius while gaming. Please let me know if there is any solution. The specs are as follows

Intel i7 7700 hq
GTX 1060 6gb vram
16 ddr4 2400 mhz
256 gb SSD + 1tb HDD

Solution
Have you considered cleaning it? The little fins and vents are very sensitive to dust.

Is it possible you used too much thermal paste? It is one of the most common mistakes.

Are you overclocking? This really raises temps and is hard on most laptops (which universally have cooling issues)

Also Laptop coolers are useful for laptops that run too hot.
