I'm running an A8-5500, and after being done with a game of League of Legends, I opened up my HWMonitor and I see that my temp's are at 87 degrees, and i'm idling at 50 degrees.

I have a Corsair H55 installed, and as far as I can tell, everything's functional.

Should I replace the stock fan on the H55? Should I check and reapply thermal paste?
What should I do?

Solution

You could always try using the Antec Formula 7 that you usually use (unless you ran out), but I doubt the CM paste would be THAT bad. I would just try reapplying it and monitoring your temps after that. For League of Legends, I don't think you should even be hitting 70C.

Could it also be the thermal paste that i'm using? Because I used the Cooler Master thermal paste that came with the CM case that I bought for a friend, and it seemed so thin compared to the Antec Formula 7 that I usually use in my builds.

Glad I could help! In case reapplying the thermal paste doesn't work, make sure you post again here on the forums. One of us would be glad to help.
