Hello,

I'm looking to get a sit / stand type desk or even more of a table desk and want to get my CPU off the floor. I am looking for a good CPU holder but it looks like most that I find cannot hold my tower. I have a CM Storm Trooper that has some hefty dimensions (578.5 x 250.0 x 605.6 mm
22.8 x 9.8 x 23.8 in). Does anyone know of a CPU holder that can mount under a desk and still hold this beast? I really need this especially if I go with a sit / stand type operation and there just isn't room to have it sitting on top of the desk.

Thanks

Grab a small shelf board from Ikea and some small legs from Ikea like so.

Thank you for the response. This would still have to sit on the floor though and if I raise the desk (should I go that route) I would need to make sure all cables are long enough to support the raised desk. If I go with a non standing desk this is definitely an option. Thank you.

Certainly.

The desk I'm currently looking at or a similar desk is a Geek Desk Sit/Stand desk. The desk itself raises and lowers and if he CPU sits on the ground (or a shelf) when the desk is in a raised position the cables that reach from the top of the desk (Monitor, keyboard, speakers, mouse, etc) much reach to the CPU on the ground or raised shelf. When in the lowered position the cables, being extremely long, would sag and drag on the floor, causing a tripping hazard.

So if I were to be able to find a CPU holder that "mounts" to the bottom of the desk itself when the desk is raised or lowered, the CPU would move with the desk and therefore cables only need to reach for that one position and could be managed more readily. So if there were a way to find a CPU holder that could be mounted to the desk itself that could hold such a large tower, that would be my optimal solution.

Should I select a non sit/stand desk where the desk does not raise the shelf would work albeit not optimal due to my wanting to have nothing on the floor but it would be an acceptable compromise.

Hope that explains it better and appreciate your participation and input.
