CPU I5 4460 reach 80c degrees on prime95

Hi guys, I bought a deepcool Gammaxx GT RGB cpu cooler. I tried to stress test it with prime 95 and i was shocked at the results. It was 80c degrees on 100% load. Is it normal? I saw some reviews about the deepcool Gammaxx GT RGB cpu cooler and they said their temps were in 50-60 c degrees. Thank you

Prime95 puts your computer in processing situations that your computer will never see.

Use your computer as you normally would and monitor temperatures then. If they start crossing 80C under those conditions, then you'll have to worry.

And reviews can vary because of testing conditions (e.g. testing in the middle of winter, using an open test bench, etc.)

I forgot to state that before the deepcool gammaxx gt I had a deepcool ice edge mini. my temps on the ice edge mini was on 55-65 while using prime95

Reseat the cooler and check if you did anything wrong. Look how the paste has spread while you're at it.

Guys Update: The one who installed the cpu cooler did something wrong, when I checked last night I saw a plastic cover on the heatsink. He did not remove it, may be he forgot or something and that's the reason why i am having high temps. Now I removed it and apply Thermal paste my self and the temps of my cpu is now 45c on prime95. and 26c on idle. Thank you guys.

Looking at this for two days now and no clue what to say.:lol: Should i be insulting or just go like this
