CPU i7-9750H worths the money?

I am researching MSI laptops and I have seen some interesting ones with CPU i7-9750H but the price is somehow more expensive that laptops with CPU i7-8750H. Can someone tell me his experience with this new CPU? Worths investing more money?

That is because the 9750H is just a little more powerful than the 8750H.

9750H is capable of up to 4.5GHz and has a base frequency of 2.6GHz. While the 8750H has a max of 4.1GHz and a base of 2.2GHz They both have 6 cores and 12 threads, but the 9750H has a higher frequency, meaning some better performance. Honestly, it probably does not matter if you get the 8750H. Both will do very will, but if you absolutely need that little bit of extra boost, then the 9750H might be the choice to get. Otherwise, get the 8750H.

Hi mangaman,

First, thank you for your reply. As I can see i7-9750H is basically a i7-8750H with higher frequencies but this older CPU has almost the same performance. At this moment, i7-9750H doesn't really worth until laptops that have it become cheaper.
