Been running fine for 4-5 years now. I was sure it would be fine after cleaning the fan and the cooling element besides the fan, but the temp is still way to high. If i play games for too long the pc will turn off or give me bluescreen.
Tried to turn on computer, got CPU temp to high, went into bios said 88.00 degrees. Cleaned the fan, tried to tighten the cooling element harder so its closer to CPU.
The thermal compound is really old, planning to wash the cooling element and CPU and apply new paste, can this be the only problem? What else can i do ? Thank you in advance.
First i used speccy, speccy is telling me 60 in idle.
Tried speedfan telling me 90 idle.
