CPU Idle Temps?

I was just wondering why my pc starts up at around 33-35 C but lets say after i play a game and then go back to being idle it instead idles at around ~40C. Is it just ambient room temp?

CPU- i7 4790k 4.1Ghz
Mobo- MSI Z97M Gaming
Video- MSI 780 TF
RAM- 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 1866mhz
2 HDD's
Cooling-Zalman Reserator 3 Max AIO Water Cooler
+4 case fans ~55 CFM

40C idle is not bad. Unless you go 70C+ on full load, there's no need to worry
PS: What's your ambient temp?

The temps at start is what I'd call idle temps, so yes you're good
