[SOLVED] CPU increases temps randomlylll

Watching youtube or other minor load.
My wife old FM1 A8-3870 CPU will run at about 100 degrees F for at least an hour.
It randomly will cpu temp runaway up to 150 degrees F.
It supposed to be able to run at 160 degrees F but it goes crazy at about 147 degrees F.

I shut it down for 15 min and it run at low temps again.
Could a bad CPU do this?
Any ideas on intermittent runaway cpu temps.
It won't even cool down at idle after it starts to run away.

Have you done any maintenance like applying new thermal paste on it and remove any dust from the fans?

clean up all fans and repaste cpu also made sure fans on cpu speed up when temp raise .

I cleaned fans and replaced paste, idled over night.
Dose paste sometimes become more afective after it is used a few days?

some paste after time tend to dry .
