CPU installation tool

So my motherboard (Asus Maximus VIII Hero) comes with a CPU installation tool as you can see here http://www.asus.com/US/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO/


Question 1 : Should i use the CPU installation tool? If so, why.. or why not?


Question 2: If i were to use the tool.. i was wondering if it was ok for me to touch the bottom contact points of the cpu to press it into place with the tool. The cpu i got was the intel i7-6700k.

A what now? Why on earth would you need a tool to install a cpu? You just line up the arrows place it in the socket and close the latch very simple. I have certainly touched the bottom of a cpu before and never had any issues, I would try not to but rest assured you wont harm the cpu if you do.

Meh, I always did it by hand. But if you are clumsy its probably worth it to use the tool.

Oils on your hands might be an issue.
You can always wipe it with Alcohol isopropyl 90% before you put the cpu in the scoket.

I already know how easy it is to install a cpu without the tool since ive done it a couple times but can the tool affect the cooling in anyway or anything? btw thanks for your help i appreciate it
