Im trying to get Watch dogs 2 to run as it is a very CPU stressing game but im having a lot of trouble. Does anyone know of a a list that shows which settings put more stress on which component? (GPU vs CPU)

Solution
Watch dogs 2 is a very "interesting" game performance wise. It seems to be above...

i5-4690k
1070 G1 Gaming
16Gb DDR3 @1666

My trouble is that the fps varies up and down by 40 fps the whole time i play and i was just wondering if there were any settings that are known to cause poor performance.

You have a good balanced system, did you check your temperatures while gaming? Are other demanding games running with less variance? Does lowering settings help things?

Watch dogs 2 is a very "interesting" game performance wise. It seems to be above 90% cpu usage almost all the time and it would sometimes be at 100% 5-10 minutes at a time. My temps were 62C max after a 30 min session. However, After about 5-6 hours of troublshooting i managed to get it to run at a somewhat stable 60fps. Some settings use much more resources then they should in watch dogs 2 and i just had to keep messing with things until it worked.

This was just a case of bad optimization, I read that if you don't have an i7 you will have a hard time running at high settings and it looks like that is the case here.
