CPU is 100C while gaming and 60C In bios

When I check bios my CPU is 60C, when I am playing a game it is 90C to 100C it wasent like this as far as I remember. The thermal paste is on correctly along with the CPU cooler. Intel Stock Cooler. I have a 4790k.

intel stock coolers usually are not good enough for ''K'' processors, i recommend getting a better cpu cooler, and getting new thermal paste like arctic silver or something good, wipe off the old paste and clean the cpu lid with rubbing alcohol. fix both and that should help alot.

Yeah get an aftermarket cooling solution. But also make sure you have proper airflow in your case. If it's a big mess of cables and you have insufficient fans, it'll just become a hotbox making the issue worse.
