[SOLVED] CPU is bottlenecking

Hello. I recently just upgraded my GPU from an RX 560 to a GTX 1060 3GB XLR8. My CPU is an AMD FX-6300. My CPU is running at about 70-100% and my GPU is running at about 20-50%. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks

Not really, I have a similar issue.

You could try Overclocking, which would improve the situation somewhat.
You can also mitigate the stuttering by limiting your frames using Riva-Tuner or something similiar.

It will depend on the game but yes the cpu will be a significant limitation. For many modern AAA games your cpu doesn’t meet the minimum recommended but the 1060 3gb at 1080p will run them all. The 6300 is really weak by modern standards, below entry level.
