Old Packard Bell PLT 5600 Desktop CPU's been in controlled climate but stored for some years. Was running well at shut down, replaced the battery of course but no start up. Power Supply, Motherboard, both or what?
Try removing the 20 pin main atx power supply connection. Reinstall and see if the board light comes on. Also check the toggle switch on the power supply; it could have been bumped to the off position.
