Alright, so I'm a long time reader but a first time poster so I'll list as much info as I can at once. Thanks in advance.

My computer started having issues a year or so after it was built. Once in a while, happening more often as time goes on, my pc will what I call "Black Screen". The PC doesn't turn off, but instead goes into what seems a stasis. The monitor goes blank and the CPU led comes on, and it will stay like that for the entirety of its time when on.

At first, I thought it was the CPU overheating because the problem used to happen when I tried to run high end games (H1Z1, Ark...etc) but lately its happening when games aren't so intense. Also, when reset it enters the "Blank Screen" mode until its been left off for a number of hours.(Again reinforced the overheating idea)

But I then noticed a trend even deeper embedded, when it happens its usually right after I close something; whether it be a game, web browser or spotify. It doesn't happen every time I close something, thank goodness, but it happens often.

I had the computer for about 3 weeks before this problem started to happen, this it started to happen at least once a day. One major/Minor thing though, this only started happening after the breaker was flipped in the room the computer was previously set up in. It was plugged directly into the wall as well.

I'm sorry I don't more info, but that's pretty much all I have to go on.

I've removed all parts and cleaned them, checked for bent pins, checked wiring, reset bios, replaced fans, and a number of other things.

My specs are as follows.

Antec 900 Mid tower
Power - OCZ ZX-1000w Power Supply
Motherboard - Asus M5A99FX Pro 2.0 Mainboard
CPU - AMD FX8320 Black Edition 8-core
Ram - 2x4gb G.Skill Ripjaw X DDR3 1600mhz
1 Tb Hard drive
Graphics Card - Asus GTX 760 2gb DDR5
Wireless Card - 802.11n Wireless
And I use a 36" tv as a monitor.

Running Windows 7 Pro

Thanks everyone for any and all support/help.

Whats the point of getting help if I have to buy a replacement as a solution. Im trying to pinpoint the problem so I don't have to by random parts.

I believe he meant can you borrow one...

The fact that u said it's happening more and more often makes me think it's a hardware and not just drivers or incompatibility issue. It's either mobo, psu or gpu. Unfortunately there's no simple solution. If u try turning it on and running a benchmark does it goes to black screen ? Or let's say prime95.
