Like i said earlier in a post i took out my cpu and put it back in but my motherboard cpu array thing has a bent pin

Although, when i boot the pc it turns on for a quick second then off. Is this a problem with the motherboard or the cpu? Like if i buy a new motherboard will it work again

Solution
The answer is NO... the CPU should be good and so would the motheroard after you straighten the bent pin... an empty mechanical pencil might help... also a pair of tweezers... and obviously a magnifying glass if you need a clearer/larger view of the pin.

The CPU is not damaged, it is the motherboard.
You can straighten the bent pin using something thin, like a pen, an empty one can work as well.
A key(maybe) can work as well, just try not to bend anymore pin while repairing this one, as you will have more work.

Good luck with that. I've had that issue on an 1155 socket and used a professional magnifier-light. I didn't own anything small enough to straighten that microscopic pin. Even a .007 mechanical pencil was too big. But others said they've done it. So it must be possible.
