Hi.
I've been having some issues with my CPU, and I'm not that big of a computer geek so I have no idea what's going on.
A month ago or so, my computer started having random restarts every few days, the screen would just suddenly turn black, and then windows would boot up again. The fans don't turn off either or anything alike, just looks like an instant reboot.
I thought perhaps it would be a temporary issue, but it isn't, it kept going, as spring started it's became more frequent. I checked my temperatures and I'm a little shocked: speccy and HWmonitor show 60-70 degrees celcius on idle and when I'm doing something that causes the CPU usage to rise to >80%, it will go to around 80-90, whilst coretemp shows 20-50 degrees celcius nearly constantly (which is impossible since I've got a stock cooler in a pre-built HP computer).
I also checked the voltage for my CPU, and from what I've seen, I believe they're waaay too high.
Could somebody help me with this issue? Below you'll find details and specs (I've not overclocked or touched any settings, everything is completely default, I use the balanced windows power option):
SPECS:
HP 550-302nb
AMD A10 8750 3.6 Ghz
NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
12 GB DDR3 RAM
All parts are stock, I've opened the case once about 3 months ago to dust out my computer. (My ambient room temperature is rather high ATM, but it happened during winter too when it was freezing in my room.)
EDIT:
What's weird is that AMD overdrive is showing other voltages and what not:
I also read it could be a power supply issue, but is there any way to diagnose it? I'm on warranty but that only covers factory faults for as far as I know and not worn parts, I'd prefer not bringing the computer in for repairs or paying alot.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
