Hello everyone.
My problem is I get a steady red led next to the cpu that says CPU_LED
It’s not blinking just steady and bright red.
I recently built my second PC.
I have a i5-2400 (2nd gen) and a Asus Sabertooth p67 motherboard.
I tried different ram sticks and slots and nothing worked. Although, there was one
ram stick in at the time I first built this, and it worked and had bios up, but no USB power but there was a display.
Tried clearing the cmos and using the jumper several times as well, that didn’t work.
I also have a Corsair CX750M power supply for this project.
Not sure what it could be but if anyone needs anymore specs on this pc I will definitely provide them.
Thanks.

Hmmm.... odd.

It worked, yet had no power to the USB ports, now it doesn't post at all?

Have you reseated the CPU, ensuring you have no bent pins?

Unfortunately, the capacitors on the board have a rated functional lifespan.
If the board was pushed hard and the VRM ran out of spec, with the 'armor' covering the entire board, it's possible those ran hot and have failed...
