I have a weird situation.
I built my first pc in the beginning of the year and it was working great. but a while ago i turned it on and it didn't work, and the cpu light was on on the motherboard. Naturally I turned it off and on and it worked fine so I didn't think much of it. today it happened again so I turned it on and off and it worked fine again. I was just wondering if this will become a bigger problem or if there is something wrong with my CPU. any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks!

make sure the mb has the newest bios code to rule out a bios bug. if the mb not turning on it could be a low power good output or low voltage on the cpu power cables (4 or 8 pin set). if the voltage is low the cpu wont turn on and you get the red cpu led on.
