Cpu light on z370e blinks read when power button is pressed all components spin and stop immediately when cpu cable is unplugged system works with no boot but fans and gpu spin

What happens when the CPU EPS connector isn't connected is irrelevant.

Please post your full system specs.

Are you using an 8xxx series CPU?
If you're using a 9xxx series, you'll need a BIOS update to support it.
If you're using anything pre-8xxx series, you have the wrong board.
