Question CPU Liquid Cooler or Wraith Stealth cooler

Hey, I'm currently buying my custom PC and I was planning on getting a CPU Liquid Cooler (https://bit.ly/2qkC1Tu) for my Ryzen 5 2600 CPU. I was told that the Wraith Stealth fan that comes with the cpu is good enough and I don't need to buy the Liquid Cooler. What should I do, buy the liquid cooler or just stick with the Wraith Stealth. Planning on using the PC for gaming and work.

The stock Wraith coolers are okay if you don't overclock but personally I always replace them with superior aftermaket options. You don't need a water system for that CPU (Though it's still perfectly fine if your just wanting to experiment with a water system), there are plenty of air coolers that are quite suitable for the 2600 such as the Dark Rock slim and Noctua NH-U14S.

There is some benefit from getting a better cooler if you want to overclock and/or want a quieter system, but I wouldn't get that liquid cooler. In general a good air cooler can perform as good or better than small/budget liquid coolers.

There is a substantial difference in ability betwen the AIO liquid coolers out there. The cheap ones (like the one you linked to) will do okay, but probably not any better than some of the good aftermarket heatpipe air coolers, like the ones the other users linked to.
If you are willing to put a little more money into it, the better AIO liquid coolers (like the Corsair H80i v2) offer better cooling than even the top heatpipe air coolers.

Overclocking? Get a decent heatpipe cooler or if you are going AIO, make it a 240, 280 or 360. Skip 120 and 140's. Not enough thermal dissipation to make them worthwhile on anything over a dual core or low TDP build.

Not overclocking? Wraith will be fine.
