Question cpu low mhz max usage

Recently i have noticed my cpu has a very low clock speed while it is always at 100 percent usage in game. When i am not playing games the mhz is the same at 798 and around 50-80 percent usage. I have a intel i5 4570 rated at 3.20 ghz and any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't played with your bios, one possible thing is viruses... download kaspersky internet security 30 day trail and scan your PC.

i checked for viruses and couldnt find any but thanks anyway

If its aboive 20-30% it should turbo boost to higher frequency...That's odd...Usually default bios settings should help if you've played with bios, since you didn't... do you have latest Windows updates?
