CPU makes Tick sound at times

If a fan blade is gone then the fan is out of balance, you need to get a new one.

Check if there is anything obstructing the CPU fan cooler.

I sometimes get ticking with one of my case fans. This is caused by the fan coming out a bit from the case. Pushing it in should stop it. If it persists, try rescrewing it in making sure it is square. If that doesn't work, some blue tac/cable tie/toothpick can help.
