Your computer has the Q75 motherboard, you can buy the i7 3770, because you can't oc the cpu with the OEM PC so that don't buy the expensive i7 3770K. But if you can find the deal, buy the 3770 K version.

Also if you have problem to boot the pc with new cpu, like i7 3770, may go to HP site to see you can find the BIOS for update.

i havent technically bought this computer yet I was checking if it was good for upgrading in the future this build costs around 400 dolllars is it worth buying. =)
