Which is THE best motherboard/processor forCities Skylines ? I want to expand to 81 tiles :) I already have a GTX 980 TI amp extreme, which should be more then enough

Solution
In a game like skylines, you won't find a difference between a quad core and a hex/oct core. In fact, I read that the only time more cores than 4 matter is if you are doing 3d rendering, photoshop and things like that.

The CPU is the best of the I5 range. I decided to get a cooler just in case you wanted to overclock a little bit also the 6600k doesn't come with cooler. Also the 6600K doesn't bottleneck with the 980TI. The motherboard has DDR4 which means it allows faster memory.

I've read somewhere that 6-cores is a little better then 4 and also better then 8 core...
money's no object and it's the only game i play
i gave to few details so thanks for the incredible quick respons but i want more :)
and yes if overclocking helps for this game then why not, but that is exactly my question since i've read so many different things about this game it gets confusing

the devs say 4 core is their base line, more cores after that will deliver diminishing returns. So an 8 core CPU won't be 2x as good as a 4 core CPU. So an i5 would be just fine and there is little reason to go past an i7 unless you just want to spend on your CPU because you can.
