I have a ryzen 7 5700x and G.Skill TridentZ 32gb (16x2)3600mhz. when I looked up the CPU it says Memory speed 3200mhz, should I lower the speed to 3200mhz in the bios or just keep it at 3600mhz?

Are you referring to this;
https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-7-5700x
i.e, System Memory Specification - Up to 3200MHz
?
If so, that's the memory controller's default speed it supports out of the box. The DDR4-3600MHz that you see in BIOS is an overclock. You're going to be fine running the rams at those speeds.

For the sake of relevance, what is the make and model of your motherboard and the BIOS version for said motherboard?

The 3200MHz is the official supported speed. What that means is that AMD is guaranteeing that all 5700X CPUs Integrated Memory Controller can run RAM at that speed. Anything above that is memory overclocking (which isn't a bad thing) and not every CPU is guaranteed to run at that speed. My advice is 3600MHz RAM is the "sweet spot" for the 5000 series and just run at that speed.
