Simple question. My cpu's memory speed is 2933, however my ram is 3466 which my motherboard supports. If I set my ram to 3466 will my cpu even use it at those speeds or will it bottleneck out at 2933?
I have it set at 3466 and it is running at that speed, but just because the ram is at that speed doesnt confirm if the cpu is right?
Thank you.

If you set the memory clock speed to 3466 then that's what it's operating at and that's what the CPU uses it at. But it may not be stable if you didn't tweak timings or DIMM voltage to be compatible with the higher speed.

You need to also run a memory test using something like HCI MemTest. Run each memory test block out to 200%.
