My computer isn't running up to par. I'm not sure what the problem is but there are a lot of FPS drops in games. My specs are right here https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FJyrCb. I need help in figuring out what could be the problem.

Some need more CPU horsepower to run higher FPS, some are GPU bound.
Any abnormal background high CPU usage if you do not run any software?
So I should get another stick of RAM to increase my performance? Some people have told me that it could also be the processor that doesn't match the speed of the graphics card. Or that the power supply doesn't meet the needs of the graphics card.

No, right now I'm just using chrome and discord and my CPU usage is at 17%
Oc your processor and see if it gets better. If so you'll know it's the cpu. That build should be pretty capable but it's definitely budget side

As mentioned your slow ram and single channel is hurting performance some,
I don't think I should OC it because I saw similar benchmarks to my CPU and graphics card and the FPS was stable and the guy hadn't overclocked. Not sure if my CPU or graphics card could be defective or...
