Does anyone have an opinion on the best possible upgrade for 550-600$ including cpu, mobo and ram?
I use my pc for gaming only. I mostly play modern games like Battlefield and AS Creed and so on. 1080p 144hz at the moment, maybe 1440p in the future.
I have never OCed before, but Im up for trying it out. And Im also curious if I actually need an i7, as games keeps demanding more.

Few words

At current date, i5-9600K is the best gaming CPU, especially if you OC the CPU. Also put in big sized CPU cooler to keep your CPU cooled while overclocked. Dark Rock Pro 3 is only few degrees short of NH-D15 (king of air coolers) while looking considerably better. Note: CPU cooler is 165mm tall and if your current PC case doesn't have enough clearance, CPU cooler or PC case need to be changed. For MoBo, put in MSI Z390 chipset board which has MSI Mystic Light among other features. Oh, you can change the MoBo if you like. And lastly, added 2x 8GB 3000 Mhz RAM. 16 GB is more than enough for latest games. RAM is normal-profile and it won't get into the way of Dark Rock Pro 3. Oh, do install RAM before installing CPU cooler, it's easier this way.
