You say you have? Well how long have you had it and what is the current bios revision?

Here is an easy way to find that.

In your search bar type CMD.

At the prompt type.

wmic bios

You can also read the version and update via the Asrock app shop since most of the major updates are windows installable.

Yes, update bios first before replacing cpu.
I would suggest updating to BIOS 5.0, there are a few fixes and memory compatibility improvements that are nice to have. You will need to patch a few times for that.

You will need to download them to a USB thumb drive and do the updating from within the BIOS itself. Not all of these will do the Windows update method.

It's less risky when you flash in steps, it's a precaution you learn to take after doing them for many years. ;)

There is only one VGA driver listed and the link is DOA because it comes up as a direct download which is blocked here. You definitely have to install it though or you will brick your BIOS and have to go through the recovery process.
