I'm looking for a combination of CPU, CPU cooler and motherboard for under $500, I will mostly be gaming and looking to overclock my parts, pairing them with a rtx 2060. Any ideas?

The CPU comes with a capable enough cooler, and will give a moderate OC too. No need to buy one.

Alright Thanks man, should I add on a cheap cooler like the hyper 212 evo to further increase the OC or will it not make a difference?

Or this, with Intel parts, should give better gaming performance than the 2700x.

If you do decide the 2700x is the way to go, try out the OC with the stock cooler and only get a better cooler if you find you're struggling with temps whilst maintaining a stable overclock
