Hello everyone, I have an acer ax1430g-uw30p and I want to either upgrade the cpu if it's possible or upgrade the cpu and mobo. I have looked all over the internet to see if the cpu can be replaced alone and found nothing. I want this to cost well under $100 for cpu and mobo and under $50 if it can be just the cpu. I will be keeping the other parts and putting linux on the system. I want to make this system a htpc nothing else I have a pc gaming build that I did so just need this acer to stream netflix hulu and amazon at 1080p with no hiccups and play my downloaded movies and tv shows in hd. I hope someone can help and thank you in advance.

Yes, mATX = micro ATX. Any mATX should fit. You can check the measurements for this motherboard for example...

The only problem is the case is a mini so only mini mobo's will fit

So I took out the mobo and measured the mobo and space in computer and mobo measures 7.8 by 7.8 and in the case its under 8 1/2 inch because of the location of the psu so micro mobo's will not work.
