Question CPU/Mobo upgrade or monitor upgrade

I currently have a 5900x and a Asus X570 Crosshair Hero WIFI and 32gb ram and a RTX 3080 Ti. I do mainly gaming and some video editing for fun and run a few VMs.I have a 1440p 144hz Monitor and i play mostly FPS games like destiny and cod and i also play alot of vr.
im having trouble deciding if i should upgrade my monitor to the LG 38GL950G-B 38inch 3840x1600 or upgrade to a 13900k and a ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E or GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS MASTER and some DDR5 6000mhz 32gb.
So what am i asking is which one would be a better upgrade for my use case.

Monitor imo. I’ve also got a 5900x and recently was considering a 13600k. But things I’ve seen I’m not sure there’s enough performance update for me. You could also consider the new rx 7900xtx coming out in about 2-3 weeks on the 13th I think.
