CPU MOBO upgrade

A silly question I think I know the answer to

If i upgrade my Mobo and CPU I would have to replace my OS and reinstall everything correct?

If you replace a mobo, you would most likely have to reinstall your OS. If it's only the CPU then it's not necessary.
