It's been a while since I have been here so please tell me if I put this in the wrong forum.

Is there a handy program that will monitor my CPU cores and provide feeback such as % used? I know task manager does this but it feels very clunky. I used to use a handy gadget that was once available for win 7 that showed RAM usage as well as every core and thread. Visually, this was easy to read while gaming. Unfortunately, it is no longer available.

With the upcoming windows 10, I am very curious to see how games that I play are affected by DX 12 and I would love a new program that has an easy to read display that I can watch while I play.

Thanks.

I tested a lot of programs to monitoring the cpu.
Now I use the RealTemp and RealTemp GT. This program give your % usage, real time temps per core, min and max temps, alarms for hight temps, real time clocks speed, and much more.

For monitor my cpu in games, I use the msi afterburner. with it you can monitor in game all gpu paramenters and cpu temperature and usage.

Thanks for the tips. I do like afterburner but I stopped using it because I was having issues with my custom fan profile not working on my gpu. I do like that it can monitor everything but the display is rather large to show 6 cores and 6 threads and will not fit on a single screen. I was looking for something more like the widget which is rather small. On my 4rth monitor I like to have my monitoring programs open so that I can view everything in real time while gaming since I have a high overclock on everything.

Again, cam 2.0 has the same issue. It only shows 4 of the 6 cores and you have to scroll to the right to see the other two. It also does not show the threads. Real temp GT also looks cool but it only shows the entire cpu usage as a single percentage.
